RICCH KID brings a hard-edged feel on “Rugged,” a track from his 2026 album SOMEWHERE IN THE STREETS. The song fits the project’s street-rap character, with a firm delivery that reflects toughness, self-reliance, and staying ready for whatever comes next.
The lyrics revolve around standing your ground and navigating difficult circumstances without losing your composure. There is a survivalist tone throughout, with RICCH KID presenting the kind of mindset built from dealing with pressure and learning to depend on yourself.
“Rugged” has also been gaining attention since the album dropped on September 30, 2026. The track has appeared on Ghanaian music charts, giving it some early visibility among listeners following RICCH KID’s latest releases.
As part of SOMEWHERE IN THE STREETS, the song adds another gritty moment to the project. It should appeal to listeners who enjoy Ghanaian hip-hop with a darker street edge and straightforward rap delivery.
