Abu Sadiq is a legendary Dagbon musician from Salamba, Tamale, whose soulful fusion of cultural rhythms, reggae, and highlife has made him a Northern Ghana icon. Born in 1972 and raised in Tamale, Abu Sadiq began singing at age 12 and formally launched his music career in 1996 at the height of the Kokomba-Nunumba conflict.
