Daddy Lumba (Charles Kwadwo Fosu) was an iconic Ghanaian highlife singer, songwriter, and producer widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential musicians in Ghana’s history.

Over a career spanning nearly four decades, he released 33 albums and more than 200 songs, blending traditional highlife with modern influences.

He passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 60 in Accra after a brief illness.
